Time - Aug-Nov 2010
Members - Karthik, Sheltan, Rick McClure & kids

A 90 min drive from Vancouver is Mt.St.Helens. Mount St.Helens is an active Volcano in the state of Washington and known for ash explosions.

Mount.St.Helens has a 1 mile wide horse shoe shaped crater and last exploded in 1980 creating a major havoc in the region be destroying homes, roads, lives and nature. Prior to the eruption in 1980 Mt.St.Helens was one of the tallest peaks in Washington. The place around is the witness for the havoc that happened - lost greenery, hillocks and rock formations and newly planted pine trees to make the place better. We spent close to 90 minutes and witnessed an active volcano.
