Pag Island - Zadar - Split - Trogir

Zadar

TROGIR

Fortress Kamerlengo
Stunning views of Trogir - the view of the fort from the Seas as well as from the fortress - the view of the whole town of Trogir is amazing. There is an entry fee to enter this fortress. This is a must visit place for tourists. Atleast, 30-45 minutes required to relish the views.

Waterfront Promenade
Awesome place - Waterfront Promenade and the bridge - absolutely MUST visit in Trogir. We went by speed boat and we just landed nearby. The broad walkways and restaurants around were scenic and exotic ! A great place to be in the evenings !

The St. Lawrence Cathedral and Bell Tower
Old church and tower - this is a nice one to see from seas. We just walked around it as we did a town walk in Trogir.

Historic City of Trogir
Beautiful small town of Trogir - We reached Trogir by speed boat from Split. The view from the Adriatic sea itself was absolutely stunning on a great sunny day. The blue skies and blue waters made the city look heavenly. The forts, promenade and towers are historic and lovely to walk around. One can plan to spend around 2 hours in Trogir. We spent around 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Simuni Beach
Simuni beach is a very nice beach. We went around 10 AM and the beach was almost empty. We spent around 1 hour around and enjoyed the transparent waters. Very nice place for photography.

Blue Lagoon Croatia

We rented a speed boat from Split to Blue lagoon. We were a group of eight and we spent very nice time in the transparent waters at Drvenik Veli. The speed boat ride was around 40 minutes and we enjoyed every bit of the ride as well as the time at Blue lagoon. We spent around 1.5 hours at blue lagoon and worth was it. The place is rocky, so do take slip-ons. Take water and drinks as well. There is only a bar around.

SPLIT

Palazzo di Diocleziano - A massive palace .. lively place - a town by itself. This was built by Roman emperor and is part of the Old Town of Split. There are lots of restaurants and Souvenir shops around and almost all are costly.

The palace consists of Outer walls, the clock tower, The gates on all directions and access to the Split port. There are statues of Egyptian sphinxes as well in the palace. There are music events happening all around and making the place very lively.

Port of Split
Cruises ... start and stop here. The entry is adjacent to the road. Validated paid parking is available nearby the port and train station. The place is always thronged by tourists. There are quite a number of shops around for slip-ons, food and souvenirs - quite costly.

Eastern (Silver) Gate
One of the entrances and ancient gates of Diocletian's Palace. The Roman arches are nice to see. A part of the monument.

Riva Harbor
This is the place where the Promenade is very nice, has seating, spend time at leisure and Where the sea tours start .. to any of the islands around - the cruises, speed boats.

Cathedral of Saint Domnius
Cathedral of Saint Domnius is one of the Tall structures in Old Split and can be viewed from around. This is a part of the Palace premises.

Kasuni Beach
Beautiful beach in Split. This is a pebble beach with absolute transparent water and aqua blue tint for photos ! The Sunset view from here stunning !

There is only a bar on the beach and it closes by sunset - food options are nil.
